In order to transfer your number to Mint, you need a Mint SIM.

While your Mint SIM is in transit, you need to gather the following information from you current carrier:
Name on the phone bill
Address on the bill
Phone number you want to port
Account number with your current carrier (this can be found on your billing statement, or by calling your current carrier's customer care)
Port out PIN/password
Once your Mint SIM has arrived, go to the Activate link in the upper right-hand corner of Mintsim.com and begin the activation.
After you have entered your ICCID, please pick the "Port My Number" option. You will then be asked to enter the information from Step 2. Phone number transfer can take up to 24 hours to complete, but most ported numbers are fullyactivated within 8 hours. Check back periodically for an updated status. You will receive a text message notification once your number is active on Mint SIM's network.
nce you have received a text message notification alerting you that your number has ported, you're ready to begin using your new Mint SIM!
